Discipleship

At First Baptist Lindale one of our main goals is to help believers be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. One of the areas where we work towards this goal is the discipleship ministry. We provide Bible study opportunities where believers can be challenged in building their relationship with Christ. The discipleship ministry places the focus upon Jesus that leads to genuine, internal, spiritual transformation by God. We believe that as believers come to know God more intimately, that they will be able to truly trust Him for the directives of life.

 

Sunday Morning Bible Study

At First Baptist Lindale we believe in the life changing power of small group Bible study. The Sunday morning Bible study groups are all about reaching people to share the whole truth of God's Word. The small group Bible study is our basic strategy for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. With solid Bible teaching as the centerpiece, the functions of evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship and worship characterize the life of the groups. Our goal is to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ, and to see his presence in their life make a difference for the kingdom of God.
